Does anyone know how PD (Photodiode Selctor) works?

 

We could probably tell you if the meaning of the device were clear.

A literal interpretation suggests a sheet of paper with different photodiode characteristics listed, such that one could make an informed selection of the best device for his application.

Possibly you could expand on "photodiode selector"?

yeah.. I was trying to analyze the ckt that I have right now, which is a photodiode selector, but I do not know why it functions like that.. I don't know where it pulls current.

 

Can you post the schematic so that we can have a look at the circuit to which are referring?
