Particle Breakdance Simulation

Good Morning,
Im currently in an internship and one of my tasks is to figure out how a potential particle covers an image sensor.
For that I would like to simulate or calculate possible scenarios, for different particles (min, max, average).
For example:
The sensor grids cluster are 3 x 3 µm. A 10µm string like particle laps into 3,3 clusters - but when you spin (back spin break dance) it different amount of clusters are affected by the particle.
Problem:
I do not know, how to do that in an automatic way for different particle shapes and length.
Are there tools I can use, tools where it would be possible to simulate such a thing?
Are there any tips how I can approach this task?

Welcome to AAC!
I'm not sure what calculations you have in mind, but the freeware 'ImageJ' can analyse particle sizes and distributions, if that's of help.
