Dear Team,

I am completely new to wireless power transfer.
I need to model a wireless power transfer link with the help of a Bode 100.
This is the reference document given to me. Couple of TX and RX coils are given to me for testing.

I would like to know what are the parameters which characterize a coil used in wireless power transfer and it's ideal values.

Regards

Can I I say higher the inductance is better and series Resistance and parasitic capacitance should be as small as possible

The problem is that in real world uses, the ideal values depends on the physical configuration of the wireless system. Reducing IR and parasitic losses (magnetic field loss) is nearly always a good design criteria.

For example here, the driven coil can only be one turn because the receive coil moves in the sender loop on a track.

This requirement needs very low AC resistance loses at the peak frequency for anything close to efficient power transfer, so special wire was used in the final version.

This is not at all for academic work. Completely for industry but I did not worked in wireless power transfer. This is my first wireless power transfer project.Need to characterize coil 10nos. The attached document is the reference given to me. But I don´'t know how to say among the 10 which one is better compared to other. I mean for this what are the parameters I need to consider.
