I don't have all the experience of these guys, obviously, and because of that I don't post a whole lot, but as you can see from my profile I'm a teenager.

 

I've seen a lot of metal-detector-circuits on the net. Do you think they would work? Of course it's dependent on the assembly...

I've seen the page. Many nice projects.

 

My main hobby is metal detecting. Generally I just hit local parks and schools, but occasionally I get up into the woods, looking for gold or coins.

So when you said in your profile your hobby was "Gold Prospecting" you weren't joking!

For me, my outdoor hobbies are walking (I have access to some of the most beautiful walking land here in the UK - The Lake District, Scottish Highlands, The Peak District, North York Moors) and golf. If it wasn't for work I would probably play 5 times a week like my now retired father-in-law. I'm also a keen footballer (soccer).

Yes I noticed the change from "gold prospecting" which I initially thought was tongue-in-cheek. I didn't change it, I wouldn't alter someones profile unless there was something which violated the forum rules (vulgarities, something offensive, etc).

She is too young for me since I am 65 (but .....).
She lives in the country of Georgia which used to be part of Russia.
She likes chatting about microcontrollers.

Yes, you are absolutely correct. Thanks for pointing out where I can get her big photo and thanks for the warning about our impersonator.

Our very pretty young "electronics student" girl in Georgia (formerly part of Russia) is actually a movie star/singer in Texas and our impersonator is probably an ugly old man or a big fat old woman.

Selena is going around with the Canadian very famous but young little guy Justin Bieber and if they .... never mind.

I live on the edge of the Canadian Rockies, so plenty of hiking in the summer, ski mountianeering in the winter, and lots of hunting in the fall. My bighorn sheep license should be coming up in the next year or two so I'm working out on the trail to get my stamina up and my load down, so I'll be ready for the big climb.

Hopefully do Vancouver Islands West Coast trail this late summer.
