I got to replace a bunch of capacitors on the acquisition block of a portable digital oscilloscope and one of the requirements is to be small.

I am between Panasonic KS/KA series and Nichicon UMW. Can anyone advise which one suits better my application?

Panasonic KS/KA is a standard series. Nichicon UMW is an audio series.

I have a preference for Panasonic as I can buy locally. And I am not sure if using audio rated caps would be of any benefit.

I think it would be very difficult to prove any difference between those. Those are both respected brands. Whoever wrote the data sheets appears to have been reading the other guy's and formatted everything to nearly match. FWIW, I lean towards Panasonic when I buy caps but I have no reason whatsoever to not choose Nichicon.
