Thank you,
I stumbled across a forum that described the same problem that I have with my TRIO CS-1060 oscillacope,
so I thought I would do the right thing and join the site, as I was gaining some valuable info.

Welcome to AAC!

It is preferable to start a new thread with a reference to the previous thread.
If you have other issues with your oscilloscope, don't be afraid to ask right here in this thread.

I hope it helps mate. It was quite a challenge for us.
Irving's analysis should help paint a picture of how the intensity circuit works that controls the repelling high negative potential at the mesh in front of electron gun.
You will probablly want an electronics tester for the repair as it made the process of teetering faulty componts very quick.
Also keep In mind there's mistakes in the service manual. I think we pointed them all out.
Good luck it's a very fun repair. I can I can try help if I can but Irving and Sarah did the heavy lifting
