Is there a IC or a way to detect from different input wires if the 230V is present and output it for driving a load without doing AC/DC and comparing the inputs ? Basically an OR gate but for AC

Use relays with 230V coils. Put the contacts in series for an AND gate or in parallel for an OR gate.

ETA: At least with an integrated circuit.

 

I think you have two sources of 230V and want either of them to power a load, right?

You can do this with a 230VAC coil DPDT relay.

 

Are these two sources in phase and at the same voltage?

You may want an Exclusive OR (XOR), or derive the load power from a source separate from the detected lines.

That is exactly how it was done back in the good old days before semiconductors.

Yes, that us what I think he wants, but he confused the issue by using the term “OR gate.”
