Here's another one that's a little harder.

Given an ordinary scientific calculator (defined as one where you enter the number, and then press a function button) that displays a positive number hereinafter known as x:

Calculate the quantity \(\frac{x}{\sqrt{x^{2} + 1}}\).

Just to make it interesting/challenging, you can't use the digit buttons (0, 1, 2, ..., 9), the arithmetic buttons (+, -, *, /), the square root button, or the square button.
