I know there is the general advice, consensus etc, against buing non OEM appliance repair parts.
But the OEM price asked seems ridiculous in quite a few cases,
A present example is a simple rubber damping straps for a GE W,M/C. tub.
The Suppliers of OEM want CA$100.00 ea!!!
Amazon and other sources have them for $10.00 per set of 4 !!
Something wrong here somewhere??

 

Even if they only last half as long, you will still be ahead in price
