I'm fairly new to electronics, am having problems with logic probes.
Bought an Elenco LP560 probe. The leds read out high, low and pulse correctly, but no sound.
Thought product might be defective. So bought a RSR Electronics 610B, same thing. The leds
indicate a proper high, low and pulse, but again no sound. No buzz or beep.
When I touch either probe's point with my fingertips I get a buzz. I am using an Arduino Uno
to test the probes, receiving 4.92V input to the board and to the high pins tested (red).
Am I doing something incorrectly, or do I have the bad luck of buying 2 defective probes in a row?
Are the specs included with the probes as to voltage only apply to lighting the leds, but not enough
to trigger a piezo buzzer or beeper?
I tried the search function here with no results, and googled extensively with no luck.
