Here is an NMOS with a resistance R connected between source and ground. Our professor told us that the resistance when seen from drain is R*gm*r0. Can anyone explain this??

Apply a voltage to the drain and determine the drain current. Then make a small change in the voltage at the drain and determine the change in the drain current. The ratio of the two is the small-signal resistance as seen looking into the drain.
