I am trying to connect the circuit below to a breadboard. It's a 555 timer configured to generate a sawtooth wave. It is simulating on proteus but I cant seem to get the breadboard connection right can u please help me with the connections on the breadboard. There's an example of my breadboard connection from tinkercad.

Welcome to AAC!

For starters, you have the capacitors shorted. You have R5 and R6 reversed. The 1k that should be 10k isn't connected to power.

To make your wiring diagrams easier to read, don't route wires over components. Your connections for pins 2, 6, and 7 were more difficult to read than they needed to be. The resistor color codes would be easier to read if you didn't mount them upside down.

How would I sort out the shorted components? I thought that's how it was supposed to be connected according to the proteus diagram.
