Unless a member is violating the ToS/UA, we really have no grounds upon which to delete or edit posts that contain wrong information. Usually wrong information is an invitation to a discussion that seeks to correct that information and that discussion is usually beneficial overall. Perhaps even to the person that posted the original information depending on how strongly wedded that person is to their views. As others have noted, some members are so out there and their views so bizarre and their history so firmly establishing that they have no clue about what they are talking about that it is pointless to try to engage them in a discussion on them. In those cases, they are routinely ignored except when someone believes they are actively detrimental to the discussion. Even then, it's up to the membership (including the mods acting as members, not as mods) to inject sanity.
