New Posts changed behavior.

I'm not sure, but I think I see a change in the web site “New Posts” button.

I typically read posts through the New Posts screen. When done, rather than hit the back button, I click on New Posts again. The site processes this differently than the back button, marking the post as read and it no longer appears in New Posts. It also returns me to the New Posts page.

Lately, when I do this, I do not get redirected to the New Posts page. Rather, I end up on the first post of the thread. I have to click on New Posts a second time to return to the New Posts page. This two-click requirement is annoying.

Has anyone else noticed this?

No, I'm still seeing this behavior, unchanged from before:

(FWIW I'm operating in "blue mode"; no idea what happens in "orange mode.")

I usually access the forums through the Recent Posts page (http://forum.allaboutcircuits.com/find-new/posts?recent=1), which I open up in one browser tab; then I scan down the list, opening selected threads in new tabs. When I'm done scanning, I hit the Mark Forums Read link. A bit different from using the New Posts screen, but it works for me.

Acts normally to me. New Posts just refreshes with old new post and any newer ones. Wim7/Blue mode/Chrome

I must admit that my usual sequence is New Posts, Mark as Read, New Posts. That way I don't challenge to my failing memory and read through the entire list again.
