DB25/DB9 are seldom used on the PCB itself.

This is currently what I am using. I have a working unit but I wanted to integrate it into a pcb for cost, storage reasons. And to eliminate a mess of wires. The db25 is my best options as most these systems use centronics connections that are costly and hard to source for cables.
