Newbie with a (most likely simple) circuit design requirement.
I am constructing a deck with an LED rope strip light from Wide Loyal that consumes ~11W total on a 12V circuit and comes with a 120V power supply.
Logic required for light activation:
1) Switch to turn on/off deck light inside the house.
2) proximity switch at gate that turns deck light on for 2 minutes even if the indoor switch is off
3) motion switch at gate that turns the deck light on for 2 minutes even if the indoor switch is off
Circuit will be located outside in a weather proof box, however temperature can reach between -40°C and +40°C.
I have found a few 555 timer relay boards online, but they require a 12V power supply which means I need a transformer. Is there such a thing as a completely integrated system that can do what I am looking for....short of using a PLC?
Thanks in advance!!
Nick
