Please excuse my unintelligence on this I am very new to this game, I will keep it short I need to somehow find out whether I can buy these or whether they are purposely made, as I need a couple of replacements if anybody could help I would be greatly appreciative

I have some broken ones that need replacing

 

Were they already installed in your house, which explains your lack of information on who makes them?
It would help if we could see the markings on the chip packages which requires better lighting and a lens with some macro capability.

What is their current purpose?

 

They are used to control lighting sequences on the front of my DJ booth, each panel creates its own Wi-Fi which connects to the router which then connects to the laptop, if that helps

 

How did they die?

It sounds like this is a custom, e.g. not off-the-shelf, part. If that's the case, the only way to get more would be to buy a new whatever it is they come inside of.

Alternatively, you could try and send the current ones out for repair.

 

OK, finally in post #5 we get an explanation as to what the device is. The good news is that on the circuit board itself is a website and what looks like a model number. So there may be a source available in the UK.

My suggestion to avoid breakage in the future is to use a much more protective enclosure for breakable electronics.

 

On the company website, a search for RL185 just brings up a " No products were found matching your selection." statement.

 

The TS needs to closely examine that PC board in the photo and provide the complete website name as we can only see a portion of it. A visit to the actual website should provide better results than searching for a part number.
