Hello every one.....

i got a shaft encoder and the optcoupler gives an output of 2.4 volts on two terminals (the voltage difference between this two terminals is 2.4) so i need to supply this signal to AVR Microcontroller, so my question is how to supply this signal to the avr in one pin? and how to amplify it to 5 volts ? just to make the avr able to recognize it.
