This is a "zebra" strip. It only conducts from one edge to the other without conducting along its length. The resistance from one edge to the other will not be zero ohms since carbon is used for the conductor.
There is no good alternative for replacing it except with another zebra strip. Why do you think it is bad?

Unless you can see the damage to the zebra strip it is more likely that the mounting frame is not holding the zebra strip between the LCD the PCB correctly.

As I said earlier, there is no easy way to get by without a zebra strip. You can't solder or use conductive ink connections to the LCD without damaging it.
The best idea I have is to try to find a replacement zebra strip in a similar display. The problem with this is that the height of the two zebra strips must be identical or the frame will not clamp it with the right force.

Sir actually I am mounding this lcd and pcb on differnt display console..so itz frame wont fit for this lcd. I just altered the diamensions of new display console but the lcd and pcb distance is different .(the old zebra connector cant be used) thats y i am looking for advices.

Actually i am trying to install The old lcd for the New treadmill Display console.

The Zebra strip has to be positioned properly. See this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elastomeric_connector for a cross sectional view.

All of the "connections" should be on the same plane. Conductive elastomers don't have a very low resistance. I've seen some strips with individual wires.

I'd suggest inspecting for flatness and possibly sanding with 1500 grit paper and cleaning thoroughly and watch the positioning.
