Need help in Aptitude Question

produced by or involving two or more parties working together
that mean
A+B=?
A=30days
B=90days
You've done this sort of problem before --- Recognize this???

Days required for both workers acting simultaneously to complete the job = 1/ ([the fraction of the work completed by 'A' per day] + [the fraction of the work completed by 'B' per day])

Mind your infinitives! (e.g. "I have to mug up"):D:D:D -- Moreover, inasmuch as we're fighting a language barrier, avoidance of slang may be advisable?:cool:
An infinitive is a verbal consisting of the word to plus a verb (in its simplest "stem" form) and functioning as a noun, adjective, or adverb. The term verbal indicates that an infinitive, like the other two kinds of verbals, is based on a verb and therefore expresses action or a state of being.

A alone can do a piece of work in 6 days and B alone in 8 days. A and B undertook to do it for Rs. 3200. With the help of C, they completed the work in 3 days. How much is to be paid to C?

A=1/6
B=1/8
A+
B=Rs 3200
A+B+C=3days

Hence "To" in the example functions as an 'infinitive marker' --- But we're studying math -- not grammar - so, shall we continue???:)
