Maybe not faulty??If it was intended as a fuse, it would be open not 4Ω.

What problem are you trying to solve? What is going wrong? It may not be I do not know
No power on an AKAI speakerWhat problem are you trying to solve? What is going wrong?
Also it is connected to a Schottky Diode SS36No power on an AKAI speaker
I think it is about 0.3 but not surewhat would you expect a schottky diode to read on resistance range ?
I measured in Diode modeI think it is about 0.3 but not sure

yes was removed1R3W would suggest that it's resistance is 1 ohm with a power dissipation rating of 3 watts. I agree with Yaakov. Measure it's resistance. The colour coding of the resistor looks like black, black, black, silver , black. This does not make sense so it i possible that the colours have changed if the resistor was running hot. (But if it was removed from the board in your photograph that does not look like it has been effected by heat from the resistor.)

meter reading 4.4 ohmsyes was removed
The image was taking under a microscope. The best you get the condition of it does not look good I think it is white1R3W could also mean 1.3W.... albeit an odd way to do it. Can anybody tell what the color bands actually are, and what direction to read them in? One way sorta makes sense, the other doesn't....? Is that light-colored band white or silver?
I can understand the TP's confusion.
000 x 0.01 .... I'm leaning towards this being a *really low* value resistor, like 0.01 at 1% tolerance, and it's a 3W resistor....?

Diode mode, is unless its a real expensive meter, based on a standard silicon diode /gate drop, so the schotkey will be forward biased by most meters.I measured in Diode mode
It's a 5 band resistor so if the colors were once brown-black-black-silver-gold it would be a 1Ω 5% resistor.1R3W could also mean 1.3W.... albeit an odd way to do it. I think you are correct going what is written on the board 1R3W -- 1 Ohm 3 WattsIt's a 5 band resistor so if the colors were once brown-black-black-silver-gold it would be a 1Ω 5% resistor.
AKAI speaker logic power Fault: No power I have no schematics for it I show an image of the resistor removed and from it you can see the text 1R3W on the boardWhat is the device that the resistor was removed from and what were the fault symptoms that made you suspect the resistor ?
It would help if you can post a schematic of the area around the resistor.
