I'm trying to build a wireless remote control using rf transmitter and ht12e.

I used the following circuit ..



The circuit worked correctly after several times of pressing the button ..
but when i connect the TE pin to ground directly the circuit worked correctly all the time

But I don't need to enable the transmitting all the time ,i need to enable it only when i press the button.

What is the purpose of D1 and D2?
Connect AD8 to GND.
Connect /TE to S1.

if i connect AD8 to ground and TE to S1 what will happen when i press the button ? will the output data of ht12d change?

 

So just press the te button when you want to transmit the data to the receiver.... what's the problem then?

i need to enable the transmitting only when i press the button not all the time to save power.
it needs 10-14mA when i enable the transmitting all the time

 

That's what the Te button does, it only transmitts the signal when you press the Te button,
