I'm trying to visualize how to independently adjust the brightness of each color of a single tri colored led with one chip such as a 558. Is this feasible or should I stick with 3 independent 555 chips.
only one color needs to be lit at a time by virtue of an external +12V input signal
although accidental or momentary dual inputs should not be destructive
