Time for a little break from engineering and math.

I have not seen Transformers yet, but I heard it was actually a good movie. It has been a long time since I am actually excited to see a movie.
I been hanging around IMDB to see what other people have been saying and all looks good, but there is something else that has caught people's eye.

There is a mysterious trailer for a movie by J.J. Abrams. You get the impression that some kind of giant monster is attacking New York City. The Empire State building blows up, and you see the Statue of Liberty's head flies across the screen. The trailer ends, no movie title is shown just "J.J. Abrams...in theaters 1.18.08."

Youtube link to the actual trailer:

What adds to the mysteriousness are two websites that are apparently tied to the movie. Many people on IMDB say this is a viral marketing campaign. The websites in question are:

http://www.ethanhaasisright.com/

IMDB thread in question: (you have to sign up to read)

There has also been a MySpace that has sprung up, but not sure if this is connected to the "Mysterious Movie."

The code name is "Cloverfield" and you can do a search on Google. Tons of information comes up.

So far, it seems VERY interesting.

what idea i have about transformer (apart from the electrical one) is about one series which use to come (or still may be coming) on cartoon network which i tried to understand but failed miserably.in this the robots use to change in aeroplanes, tanks etc...

And I thought it was a trailer (caravan) parked in front of an electrical transformer (substation):D. The mysterious part could be, for instance, the trailer is there to cause an EMP os something, and fry the grid.

Ironic would be a transformer disguised of transformer...

Maybe I should have swapped the first sentence in my post as the title:

Time for a little break from engineering and math.

Well, if it is a decepticon it could be named "Step Down", after the transformer.
Hmmmm... It could attack by sourcing tremendous levels of current at low voltage. The puny humans would be immune, but the metal Autobots would have parts of their fender-work blown away in spectacular fashion! :) It could also be the Decepticon team's lead weldor! :D

that robo must be warned though current always completes the circuit so it will be a short of self destructing one (perhaps).
