I prefer the "AniMusic" version .....
They've got mostly original stuff, 2-Albums worth, very artistic.
Their stuff is very much worth watching fullscreen with a good sound-system.

My old SL-5 needs a little TLC. It plays fine but I should replace the old cartridge, stylus and check the electronics/mechanical parts for wear. If you have one or a similar Technics model, this is a great refurb series.

I haven't had a Turntable since the late '80's,
but I grew-up in a house where my Dad's CRANKING-UP of Classical-Music-Records on every Sunday
was to be expected, and if You didn't like it You could go somewhere else.

So, I learned all of the major "works", note by note, by the time I was around ~12-years old,
including "Pictures at an Exhibition".
Then I found-out about Led-Zeppelin, and a lot of other excellent Music,
which, of course, I could only listen to on Headphones, ( if You want to listen to that kind of crap )..

He had an Acoustics-Research Belt-Drive-Turntable along with a home-made Preamp which had
Metal-Can packaged "Integrated-Circuits" ( !!!!! cool stuff !!!!! ) and
an "Allied" FM-only-Tuner, and a home-made Tube-Power-Amp that
probably weighed close to ~75 pounds,
with four ~8-inch cubed, hermetically-sealed, Transformers, ( mostly Military-Surplus parts ),
which put-off enough heat to keep the whole Living-Room warm in the winter,
( and which was replaced by a home-built Transistor-Amp around ~1974 ),
all driving a pair of home-made "Acoustic-Suspension" Speaker-Cabinets with "Goodman" 15" drivers.

Supposedly top-notch stuff for circa~1967, and this setup would seriously shake the whole House.

I've always had a turntable with every audio/media system I've designed and built because I have all of my old records and play them regularly when working on various projects.

I can set the system to 'pure direct' and have the best of 2 channel source in a room designed for 11.2 ATMOS. You don't need fancy tone controls if the 'room' is tuned.

Prewire for multichannel sound and lots of extra insulation and damping panels for passive sound control and the reduction of room modes for flat bass response and echo reduction.
