I have never heard Hotel California sung by girls and who are out-of-tune. The original song 47 years ago by the Eagles were sung almost in-tune by guys. I heard it sung 10 years ago by them using Autotune but it still didn't sound right.

My bass-playing pop-culture immersed musician daughter can't detect it.

 

Almost everything sung recorded today is with Autotune. Sometimes I detect it. Live singing today is almost always out-of-tune because they can't sing worth a damn.

 

Now everything is done with "Pro-Tools" Software, instead of actual talented "Pros".
