Not sure that conclusion is warranted. I bought a custom fitted dance shirt made in Ukraine since the war started and it was perfect and arrived on time.

Anyway, if thus is a halloween costume, it’s a bit late!

It is for a convention about a year from now plenty of time for me to figure out the mechanism and receive wings.

 

Just saw some wings last night on some older kids. Not moving, just fixed wings. So no mechanism to view. Now I am wondering how a spring-wire mount instead of a hinge could work. Flexing spring wire, like the short antennas in the center of the car roof. Not the taller ones with a spring mount, just the springy stainless-steel spring wire.

Last night we had a child with moving wings come by. I talked to there dad and they had made them. From what they told me I found this brilliant tutorial.

Doable but complex.
A single DC motor with crank arm and a battery is all you need.

 

I hope that the TS will show us a photo of the assembly when it is completed. And tell us their impression of the whole thing. It will be quite educational.
