Hi everybody,
I'm new to this website and new to electronics. I'm a (dare I swear on-line) mechanical engineer with 35 years in the offshore oil and gas business. Having to re-invent myself due to oil price collapse a few years ago. Trying to do some experiments on wireless power transfer. I'm trying to get an AC power source of about 12V and a couple of amps at frequencies between 50 Hz and 2000 Hz driven from 12V DC battery. I have built a signal generator from a kit based on XR-2206 which is giving me a reasonable sine wave of about 1 volt RMS. (see attachment). Can anyone point me to a circuit that can amplify this to my required 12V, 2A load at a range of frequencies. Frequencies can be in discrete steps, say 50, 100, 200, 400, 800, 1600 Hz.
Thanks in anticipation
Regards
NeilK
