Hi! First time posting. Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere; I searched but couldn't find quite the answer I've been looking for.
I've installed a generic mag-lock system and added this wifi enabled switch so I can control the lock state from my phone using this Android app. It works great, and I can even control the lock from outside the local wifi network (a requirement of the project). The obstacle I need to overcome is that (de)activating the locking system through the app causes the lock to de-energize for only a moment and then re-activate. I need to be able to manually switch between locked and unlocked states. It seems that others have accomplished this (controlling lights or whatever) using what appears to be the same wifi switch that I'm using.
Is this an installation issue, a software issue, or am I using the wrong components?
