Hi,

i'm trying to repair a vintage electro device, similar to this:

i tested the device many years ago, but didn't measure the output (to build a circuit)

I would appreciate if anyone has informations or knows about thoses devices.

thanks!

I'm trying to repair the original device (the conveyor belt) i'm trying to find the best one to keep it aesthetically pleasing.

In the meantime i would like to build a circuit with a similar output (which i haven't tested)

The effects are very subtles (at the lowest setting) to tingly/prickly (not like Tens), like a static electricity generator.

What you may want to look at is a simple circular section belt.
It is a simple AC or DC generator, you could measure the output at a 'normal' rpm.
The level will vary.
Max.

Thanks MaxHeadRoom and MrChips!

I also thought that a simple circular belt would work (any ideas what the original ones were made of?)

Didn't think about an AC generator at first.

Thanks a lot for the informations and details on the device(s) much appreciated!

My Unimat mini-lathe came with rope belts which are now well worn and long gone. I was able to find the right sized O-ring belts that work just as well.

The picture is not of the actual device but one very similar.

I guess it's a rope belt (wasn't sure) it really gripped the wheel.

Thanks again!
