My apologies in the confusion. In the original post I stated that the stair lights controller works well as designed, but "At times, we would just like the ambience of the lights always being on." The goal is to have the ability to use the stair light controller as designed (sense when there is movement and activate and deactivate after a set timer) but also have the ability to have the stair lights "always on". "Always on" is not a feature of the stair light controller hence I am looking for a way to implement an "always on" capability while still maintaining the motion activated features.

OK, Having BOTH modes makes it more complex. Quite abit more complex, really.
