My laptop threw a wobbly so I re-installed win 7 64 bit from oem disc. Updated to service pack 1, then ran update. After 4 hours there were nearly three hundred updates . Most installed ok, but then with 5 (total of 48Mb) to go, it restarted and then I selected the 5 remaining, and all it does is say downloading and installing updates but stays at 0% even after 3 hours. I cancelled the updates, re-started the computer, and selected to install only 1 update of 1.1 Mb but the same thing keeps happening.
I looked at the Ms help for the problem but with no success. Anyone got a solution?
