hi, im working on a project. which is unit for cell culturing process. I need to connect the microcontroller used to control the uv light and user interface with main powers.
how can I do this?/
thank you

If I understand you correctly, all you need to do is acquire a few ssr's to switch your devices on and off using the mcu of your choice.hi, im working on a project. which is unit for cell culturing process. Makes sense, if this is the object, I didn't quite get the question! If I understand you correctly, all you need to do is acquire a few ssr's to switch your devices on and off using the mcu of your choice.
Well, there you go. They're inexpensive, and extremely simple to use. Let us know if you have any questions on how to connect them.hi cmartinez,
yes that's what I want.
Yeah, a triac can be the cheapest option. And replacing them can be easier if they're mounted on the PCB using ordinary screw terminal blocks. For any smaller DC load current versions you may require, an opto on the Micro to drive a 2n7000 or other logic gate Mosfet may work. Also the opto could drive a Triac.
Also the micro will drive a logic Mosfet directly if isolation is not required for a particular load.
Max.
yeah I know, but do they have the same functionHello,
A SSR is a solid state relays.
A SMPS is a switched mode power supply.
Bertus
Completely different function, a SMPS is a Switch Mode Power Supply AC to L.V. DC usually.yeah I know, but do they have the same function
Are you citing the Opto22 modules?Yeah, a triac can be the cheapest option. And replacing them can be easier if they're mounted on the PCB using ordinary screw terminal blocks.
