Measuring the ohms on a stepper motor

So I have 2 stepper motors and I know one of them is 2 ohms and the other is 34 ohms.

Can i measure that with a multimeter?

You sure can. Have you ever measured resistance with a multimeter before? Most meters come with paperwork explaining the safety issues and instructions on use of meter.

Yes I measured ohms and got 1.7 between two cables of the same phase. I'm guessing that's how. Sorry but I was away in the morning and so I wanted to ask in case that wasn't the way to do it.

We don't compare motor power to the DC winding resistance. We compare power to current, as relative to voltage, that the motor consumes.
