I think your only option would be to find a model for a modern version of that part. Maybe this one.

Couldn't find the moc3051, I did find a PC817 only has 4 pins, my circuit only uses 4. My problem is this circuit I had designed 35 years ago. It's what got me interested in electronics, when I watch someone design it.

The circuit I had built was dual purpose, it could sense water and drive a triac or alarm, plus it had an IR detector circuit that sensed lint to alert customers the device needed cleaning.

"My question will this PC817, a zero cross or can I drive it with a 2n222 transistor?"
