I have a DC Motor (from a treadmill scrap)... model # M 220530 130 vdc , 3hp , 2672 watts , but 'no good' controller board .
Can I use a MC 60 controller board to operate ( key word here is operate ), this motor ? Functionality is for a drill press motor conversion . I have used a MC 60 controller for checking the rotation & simple operation (on/off ) of the 3 hp motor , but have not put this board into a 'load use'. I am a hobbyist with infrequent use on the drill press . No shop production .
