Hey all,
I was looking at making a power station to take the load off my power bill. Its going to be solar. most likely with micro inverters and such BUT I have run into an issue.
I am a gamer. I want the power to remain on for my PC. But the computer I have is one of the items that chew a few Kw. so the idea I had was to use BOTH solar and mains.
when solar power is available from inverter it uses that until it gets to a point that its about to not be available. Then I want it to use mains and let batteries from solar recharge to full BEFORE going back to solar.
I can't find an automatic switch to do this so was hoping someone would help. Also I want the transition to be close to seamless so the computer doesn't restart, failing that a UPS will be used between the switch and computer but if I don't have to use that then it would be better.
