Does anyone have an LTSpice potentiometer model that is ready to go?

Make sure to use the ".include potentiometer.sub" directive in the file

 

Cmartinez beat me to it, but here's the ones I use.
Put the .asy file in the sym folder and the .sub file in the sub folder.
Then close and open LTspice.
"Pot" should then be in the first level of "Select Component Symbol".

Instead of a potentiometer, I found a simple step function to be more useful for analysis.

 

Instead of a potentiometer, I found a simple step function to be more useful for analysis.

But to simulate a pot, you need to step two resistors such that their sum is constant.
It's easy to step the pot wiper position.
Just substitute "{w}" (with curly parenthesis) for the wiper position number (as below), and then step w (0 to 1) to step the wiper position.
