LT1795 symbol in LTSPICE has different pins then datasheet

It is common to use very short names on the pins to keep the schematic clean. A long name will extend over the next two pins.
C is Comp
S is Shutdown
SR is Shutdown Reference.

There is no requirement in a simulator for the models of components to have any particular relationship to any real package for that device. This is particularly true for devices with two, four or mode devices in a package. What would lead you to such a quaint notion? Spice and its derivatives have been through at least 4 generations of package types.

Operational amplifiers were in cylindrical metal cans, beam-lead packages, thru-hole dual in line packages, flat-pak packages and SOIC packages to name a few. In none of those cases would I expect pin numbers to remain the same.

Hello,two questions:
1.What if my load is an inductor, should i keep the comp also open circuit?
2. S is supposed to be connected to V+ not 5V by the data sheet ,correct?

Hi yef,
In that basic circuit I posted, a +5V signal is used to represent say a logic driven control signal.
If you do not want to use that control pin, apply +V.

What are the details of your inductive load?

Note: I would suggest you add the inductive load to that test circuit, then drive the LT1795 with a typical input signal, run a BW simulation and check for any Vout peaking.

Hello , My goal is to drive an 1.5uH coil .
The driver topology I used is shown below and In the attached LTspice file.
1.Is this topology good?
2.I need to use this driver to have a PI controller behavior.
my driver is differential but my PI controller is single ended.
How do I connect the two?
Both circuit LTspice models are attached.
