Looping CAN BUS signal or turning a reading into a input

I just found a Horton video and can for sure say your biggest problem is going to be legal. There is a reason they are running variable speed fans and in today's "climate crisis" you will have a hard time selling the idea of eliminating a factory installed fan hub no matter how you spin it. It's a pretty neat system and while I have not seen one yet, I think the same technology is actually used on water pumps on some of Detroit Diesel's DD series. Like the DEF, DPF, and everything else that seems to cause a fault every time you hit a bump you're just gong to have to live with it.

It’s for tractors so off road use and it can no way cause harm or hazards and it has nothing to do with emissions so I don’t think much can limit me on that aspect however yes I got a few customers that will slow me to try it and test it

Fair enough. I was thinking semi tractor for some reason instead of farm tractor. I totally understand what you want to do is going to be safe and all that (it sounds like something I would try myself), but the powers that be tend to not see things as they are. I think if you can figure out the speed sensor signal your idea will work... it's just going to be a matter of figuring out what it looks like to the ECU.

Good luck.
