Lontium Semiconductor Information

For some considerable time now I have been trying to track down information on some Lontium HDMI multiplexing ICs, namely the LT8631 and LT8641 chips.

Datasheets have not been forthcoming, and I have had no response to numerous emails sent to Lontium for information.

It's almost as though they don't want people to know about their products, and are hiding behind a veil of secrecy....

If anyone knows how I can get the specification sheets for these devices I would be extremely grateful.

TIA

Thanks for the links, but I've already seen all of those. There are no specifications for the IC's in them at all, they are just product briefs.

The mouser link gives me an "Access Denied" situation, but I can side-sweep that I believe.

all of them have same watermark "CONFIDENTIAL". not sure about you but to me that is pretty clear.

perhaps the ICs have secrets like ultra fast bitcoin mining, backdoors or security risks or for whatever reason do not meet import/export restrictions. maybe someone liked it so much and bought all products and exclusive rights...

personally i would just find another chip that does the same function. but don't let that persuade you. if you really need THAT product, try talking to them and see what it takes to get the datasheets (and ICs). maybe you need to sign some contract (like NDA). or maybe there are more stringent requirements. perhaps you may need to move to China, apply for citizenship, become party member, or a Shaolin monk. at any rate you are doing it wrong - instead of talking to people on a public forum, you should be talking to those that put "confidential" watermark.... yes... that would be the manufacturer.

You can't "talk" to people who don't even respond.

Your last link led me to the Analog Devices AD8191ASTZ chip, which would do the job nicely. I now need to brush up on PCB design for "controlled impedance" at up to 1.65GHz, and a "controlled differential impedance" of 100ohm.
