Still trying to get a DC-DC 24VAC to 5VDC design happening. I have decided to use the TI LMR16030SDDA due to its wide input voltage capability (up to 60VDC). I generated the circuit using TI's webench tool which gave me this design:



The freewheel diode specified in the circuit is the SBRD10200TR shown below. I can't get this diode through Mouser here in Australia and went looking for alternatives.




I came up with the Vishay V8PAM10S-M3 though a parametric search on au.mouser.com and wanted to know if it will suite.
