Hi All, I am using the Tina simulation program from Texas Instruments to try to simulate a simple light dimming circuit. I am using Tina because it has Triac and Diac models. The simulation is not working. There should be no mains voltage drop over the triac. With the components used the triac should be switched on.
Anybody know why the simulation is not working? It makes no difference if the earth symbol is left out. I have posted the circuit.
