I have a Jet GHB 1340 A lathe that won't run. The motor will run if I push the contactor in,(and it will hold), but it acts as if it is not getting any power otherwise. The digital read out works fine and the lathe is getting power from the buss head. Any suggestions?

 

Check the On / Start switch and its circuit to see if it is sending power to engage the contactor. Fuses?

Does the contactor have an overload block that needs resetting on the output side?
