Hello,

I need to design a test jig for a 12V, 3A solenoid which does the following:

1. Latch during +ve voltage supply. But the input +ve voltage should be only for 300 ms
2. Unlatch during -ve voltage supply. Again, the -ve voltage should not be for more than 300 ms.

This is the first design project that I'm doing, so I would really appreciate it if somebody can help me the components which will be needed(with P/N if you have) and also a circuit diagram.

Your description is not very clear.
eg: is +ve a 300mS pulse to the relay coil and do you mean -ve voltage or 0v.?

It is possible a 'latching' type relay would do want you want, need more information.

Post a sketch showing the circuit idea and the pulse waveforms.
