Can someone please assist?
My Asus charger initially outputs specified voltage, but within a few seconds gradually drops to zero. There are no physical clues... What components should I check?

Does it do this when connected to the laptop or when not connected (or both).

 

The capacitors are a likely suspect.
But, remember, be careful as there are lethal voltages inside that black box.
Make sure it is unplugged and the caps are discharged before you poke around in it.

Yes, both. I believe the battery isn't 100% either.

Every one of those I worked on had a bad connection on the DC connector where the cable was bent repeatedly..
