I'm having the trouble trying to figure out the problem which is the turn signal circuit works fine until the car gets started then pop goes the fuse. I was told by a very electronic savvy friend that possibly I to many diodes, so basically I cut everything out and the redid it but with only four diodes (1n4007) versus like six, yeah little diode happy. Then it worked for a little while, and popped again. But please if I could get any advice on how to remedy my problem I'd be very greatful..

Yes, very hard to diagnose without a diagram.

Does the fuse blow with the indicators on both directions, or does it only happen on one direction, eg right only?

Running voltage is higher than battery voltage. Can you substitute lower wattage LED's or bulbs or larger (higher value) current limiting resistors if LED's?
