I found that a great deal of moving the arm around, and really using the muscle made the arm soreness less with my first dose. I was very active about doing it, and it did seem to help.

That is information that the CDC should have provided much sooner as injection site soreness was a common side effect. I started moving my arm around as soon as I got the first shot, but I still had soreness for several days. It was about a day for the second.I found that a great deal of moving the arm around, and really using the muscle made the arm soreness less with my first dose. Actually I barely felt anything, and so far I feel absolutely no discomfort in my arm...I found that a great deal of moving the arm around, and really using the muscle made the arm soreness less with my first dose. I was very active about doing it, and it did seem to help.
They don’tOh, and they do not inject nanobots to trace you for the government.
How naive for people to believe such an absurd thing ... those nanobots are rather to give you wolverine-like regenerative powers... right?Oh, and they do not inject nanobots to trace you for the government.
I was amazed how tiny the needle was, both length and girth. I give blood every 8 weeks and that’s a completely different thing than the mosquito they use for the vaccine. The nurse laughed out loud when she showed me the syringe and I told her "all's fine as long as you don't use one of those Thanksgiving Turkey flavor injectors on me..."

Feeling just fine, thanks. My arm is a little sore, and I expected it to hurt more this morning than yesterday night, but that's not the case. My wife complained about her arm hurting quite a bit though. She couldn't lift it sideways any higher than her shoulder.Hey, how‘s it going? Feeling OK?
It’s not the jab that causes the pain, it’s the vaccine. The arm movement is supposed to cler it from the injection site. The actual needle didn’t cause me any pain at all.
Good to hear, and about your wife, too. I am doing very well, now waiting the days until I am theoretically "fully protected".Feeling just fine, thanks. My expectation is that that minor discomfort will go away by tomorrow. It's the second jab that has me an itsy bit worried, though. But that won't happen until 4 to 6 weeks from now. In the meantime, I'm feeling a bit relieved for having completed this first step. Although I'm not planning on entirely loosening up until two weeks after the second dose.
How about you?
I don't know why I was reminded of that famous "seven minutes of terror" video about Nasa's missions to Mars landing procedure... Knowing about your phobic aversion to needles, the analogy might not be too far off for the day you get your second shot.Good to hear, and about your wife, too. Thankfully, the second shot is behind me now it's just the 14 days waiting, minus the 4 that have elapsed.I don't know why I was reminded of that famous "seven minutes of terror" video about Nasa's missions to Mars landing procedure... Oh! ... I didn't know that, or I don't remember you saying it in this conversation.... good to hear the worst has passed for you... in a few days you'll be free to join teenagers and twentysomethings in a wild rave if you want!Thankfully, the second shot is behind me now it's just the 14 days waiting, minus the 4 that have elapsed.
After seeing dozens of people getting injections in the news, I was concerned about the length of the needles they were using. I understand that they need to inject into muscle tissue and that some people have huge arms, but I was concerned about them hitting my bone because they seemed to just push it in as far as it would go. They seemed significantly longer than what they use for the flu shots. The nurse laughed out loud when she showed me the syringe and I told her "all's fine as long as you don't use one of those Thanksgiving Turkey flavor injectors on me..."
I remember the needle being real thin, but I didn't pay attention to its length... if you look at the pic I posted, I was turning my gaze away at the moment... I never ever look at that hideous thing when I get vaccinated!.After seeing dozens of people getting injections in the news, I was concerned about the length of the needles they were using. Somehow... I don't think I want to do that.Oh! ... I didn't know that, or I don't remember you saying it in this conversation.... good to hear the worst has passed for you... in a few days you'll be free to join teenagers and twentysomethings in a wild rave if you want!
