Modi is one of the smartest politicians India has seen for the last 100 years. He seems to be very strategic - see his move on the last global warming conference, his handling of India-China relationship, and his stand on Pakistan / terrorism.

That dude needs to be taken seriously.

The problem is. How to change another person's mind.

Make it look like it was their own idea or force them to convert... I just don't know since I was never a kid myself, I was born an adult :D

But in all seriousness the religion of Islam needs an enemy which they can unite on battling that can only be won with them being the smarter one, not the more aggressive one.

Some think Nostradamus identified ISLAM as a terrorist religion, according to one of the quatrains interpretations, according to the history channel last night.

Yet there are a billion Muslims in the world who have never killed or attacked anyone.
True but even he knows there is a problem.

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said on Sunday that Muslims must improve the image of their religion, which has been tarnished by the violence of hardline groups such as Islamic State,
...
"Did we ever think that, instead of enemies, an albeit small group from within the Islamic world using the language of Islam, would present it as the religion of killing, violence, whips, extortion and injustice?" Rouhani said.

Rouhani, a relative moderate, said Islamic principles opposed violence and the extremism of groups such as Islamic State stemmed from "narrow-mindedness and a lack of moderation".

Rouhani criticized Muslim countries for "being silent in the face of all the killing and bloodshed" in Syria, Iraq and Yemen - conflicts in which Iran plays a role.

The question is if it is a real problem or a perceived problem.
We aren't talking about a movie! Yes it's a real problem. Real people are being murdered in large numbers by people who proclaim loudly to be the keepers of the truth by the sword. The words we hear today date back for hundreds of years with the same basic theme as heard by Adams, Jefferson and Franklin in one the first wars this country fought after Independence. People in my wife's family have been killed by Islamic groups in the southern Philippines. While under military jurisdiction as a civilian in the 1980's I was banned from traveling with my wife in-country off base because of terrorist threats to Americans by the Islamic rebels in the south.

In the late 70s, in Italy, we were warned about the Brigate Rosse, the Red Brigade. During my time there, they successfully kidnapped and killed the one person who was about to unite Italy, Aldo Moro. A couple of years after I left they kidnapped American Brigadier General Dozier.

Terrorists are real. Remember the Achillle Lauro hijacking? The PLO.
Remember TWA Flight 847? Islamic jihadists.

Terrorists come in all flavors. The flavor du jour is the ones who hijacked a religion and has conquered lands in Syria and Iraq.

NSAspook certainly reminded you of the Barbary Pirates where the U.S. sent the Navy to the area during President Jefferson's term.

Do I think all Muslims are terrorists? No. Do I hear their Leaders voicing an opinion denouncing those who are terrorists, like ISIS? No.

Some say silence implies consent.
