New to the forum. I want to build an irrigation solenoid valve clicker so i can locate the multiple valve boxes in my lawn. They use 24 VAC. Circuit has about 30 ohms.

Does anyone know of a circuit board that would make the solenoids cycle in order to make a sound? I want start with three 9-Volt batteries. Open to all of your ideas. Thanks.

 

I suggest buying a irrigation controller with a WiFi connection, as doing want you want otherwise sounds like it would be somewhat of a kludge.
That way you can turn the sprinkler solenoids on and off from you cell phone outside.
I have this one, and it works well.

But the valves I have don't make a significant sound when energized, so I'm not sure you can locate them by sound.
